WANDER OFTEN.

WONDER ALWAYS.

We specialize in transformational travel experiences for teenagers, bucket list adventures, and building community by exploring together.

ABOUT US

We're youth development experts with a serious case of wanderlust.

OutLoud Adventures was created by Jeffery Moffitt and Allison Caldwell to help youth form deeper connections with nature, build community, and explore the world around them. Jeffery and Allison have over 25 years of combined experience working with teenagers and together founded OutLoud Dallas, a holistic youth development nonprofit focused on enhancing social emotional skills through arts and adventure programming.

We know that the key to an amazing summer adventure is the right route with the right people, and we take great pride in designing trips that are well paced, strike the perfect balance between challenging and rewarding, and are led by incredible educators that are experts at creating a sense of community from our very first meeting with the group.

WHAT SETS US APART

Small Group Experiences

All of our adventures are intimate experiences designed to quickly foster a tight knit community. Being in a small group means:

  • No big, impersonal tours.

  • We eat at the best local restaurants. No big chains.

  • We can stay in remote areas or small boutique hotels with limited accommodations

  • Our tours can go off the beaten path to places that large charter buses can't access.

  • We can all build meaningful relationships with the entire group.

  • We can insure minimal impact on the wild places that we visit.

We're Local

We're a Dallas based company that caters to North Texas families. Because we're local:

  • We host a pre-meeting for parents and participants before the adventure kicks off. This helps us begin to build new friendships, help everyone feel more comfortable, and go over all of the details like packing lists and itineraries.

  • Friendships don’t have to end when the trip does! Participants will meet other young people from the area, and many remain in contact and meet up after the trip is over.

  • We all fly out from DFW together. Parents can rest easy knowing that our wonderful staff will be supervising the journey from the moment you drop them off at the airport.

Safety Is Our #1 Priority

Our trip staff is made up of seasoned educators and outdoor experts. Their expertise helps ensure physical and emotional safety for everyone.

  • All staff are Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified.

  • All routes have been personally tested by our co-founders and have detailed emergency plans in place.

  • We carry an emergency satellite phone on all of our adventures so that communication is always possible, regardless of cell phone service
